Hello everyone, hope you are doing good. So as I informed you in the last blog that I will be sharing about my bike with you all..so it's the time now ....ok let me begin from the beginning, My motivation - my dad, he is a true automobile lover, it's only because of him whatever I know about the automobile industry. He used to keep him updated with all the technical updates of the automobile industry, especially about cars and motorbikes. It was his fascinations that made him take the decision of modifying his own bike. As he was free in the 1st lockdown which was implemented in March 2020, my father decided to do something different. In 1st phase of modifying we decided to make it a bobber-type motorcycle.
As we progressed in developing its design, keeping in mind the bobber-style bike, firstly we removed the back seat and made it a single-seater bike. After that, we decided on the size and shapes of the mudguards. But my father told me that he wants some retro-modern touch to our classy bike, so we decided to change our normal spokes wheels with new alloys. As we were doing all the things in the lockdown and the market was facing an extreme shortage of all the things we also struggled to find the alloy of our choice. After going through several stores and websites we both finalized dimond cut matte finish Parado genuine alloy. And at the same time, we decided to use some bigger size tires for our classy. After a lot of research, we decided to purchase Timsun tires for our bike, they are quite expensive but their quality is super notch.

Here came our first problem fitting oversized tires. But somehow we managed to install them without changing the original swing arm of the bike. By the way, did I told you that all the work was done by us except for some exceptional works of welding and cutting, even though they were also guided by us.

Then we purchased new original mudguards and marked on them the size we required, after that fitting them was the most chaotic work among all. We fitted them, but there were some problems in it, like while offroading tires were touching and scratching with the mudguards. So we again took the mudguards off than we decided to tight them on the chassis and not on the body as the movement of chassis and tires are always proportional to each other, So again we designed and tested in so many ways the fitting of the mudguards and at last got success in that. Now comes the part of wiring and lighting, as the backlight was removed so we searched for a strip of led red light with integrated indicator yellow lights in it. The fitting of the backlight was another hectic task as we have to look at the complete electrical wiring of the bike. We decided to place it a little behind the seat so it can be easily visible to all. And last big task was of placing the backside registration plate. We decided to have a side-mounted number plate, we found it online and it was also custom made. We decided to place it at the level of the axle of the rear wheel.

My father decided to give a name to our bike, as soon as we started working on this project we took off the original name of the bike. And gave it a name - HERITAGE CLASSIC.
