Hello everyone,
Thank you so much for reading and sharing about the Heritage
Classic. I kindly ask those who haven’t yet read the previous parts about the
Classic Heritage to take a moment and check them out—I’ll provide the links at
the end of this blog.
Now, let’s dive in! One of the most noticeable changes in my
bike is how bold it looks, even though its overall length has been reduced.
Despite that, it still has a strong and heavy presence, thanks to the tires. As
I mentioned earlier, we replaced the original rims and tires. We opted for a
broader, radial Timsun tire. The front tire is sized 90/90 R19, and the rear
tire, model TS 822, is 120/80 R18. These Timsun tires not only have a sleek
look but also boast excellent quality and finishing. The wider rear tire
doesn’t just make the bike look broader—it also raises the bike's height,
increasing ground clearance. The short mudguards provide plenty of space to
showcase the tires. The extra ground clearance boosts confidence while riding.
We also decided to remove the crash guard, which makes the
engine more visible, giving it a larger appearance. To enhance this, we wrapped
half of the exhaust pipe with a black silencer wrap, further accentuating the
bold look of the engine and exhaust. The higher ground clearance and exposed
engine create a solid, powerful visual core for the bike. Additionally, we
replaced the iconic Royal Enfield headlight shade and swapped the chrome ring
around the headlight for a matte black one. Our goal was to minimize the chrome
and give the bike a modern touch, so we also changed the chrome backing of the
indicators to matte black.
As I’ve mentioned in my previous blogs, my father and I
wanted to give our bike a modern makeover while keeping its classic, retro
charm.
